Mccc visiting artist series to feature betzi lievens
Monroe County Community College will host a lecture, demonstration and month-long public display by Betzi Lievens as part of its Visiting Artist Series. With a solid foundation in fine arts, Lievens honed her skills at MCCC and further developed her craft at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Known for her vibrant use of color and mastery of acrylic and oil on wood and canvas, she has become a prominent figure in the Detroit art scene since her debut in 2002.
