MEMORY BANK" MCCC'S INSIDE OUT DANCE ENSEMBLE PERFORMANCES SET FOR APRIL 12 & 13

The Monroe County Community College Inside Out Dance Ensemble will present “Memory Bank” on Saturday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. with a repeat performance Sunday, April 13, at 3 p.m. in the La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater, located on MCCC’s Main Campus at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe. General admission tickets for each show are $12.00 per person and can be purchased in advance at www.monoreccc.edu/events under the "MCCC Inside Out Dance Ensemble" listings or at the door.

During this annual spring time celebration of dance, director Kellie Lajiness and the performers will download a warehouse of preserved and newly stored dance data for the audience's live uploading experience. With dozens of different selections and using a combination of group dance performances, including the Destination Tap Collective, a variety of solo and duet dance performances with guitar and vocal interludes by Kevin R. Daniels, "Memory Bank" will certainly appeal to a very broad, family-friendly audience.

IODE is a contemporary dance company founded by Kelli Lajiness in 2010 and is housed at MCCC. She continues to serve as the choreographer and director for the company.

The MCCC Season of Events is made possible through The Foundation of MCCC’s Cultural Enrichment Endowment Fund and the generous donations of Consumers Energy Foundation, DTE Foundation, First Merchants Bank and La-Z-Boy.
