Level 1 Electrical Course begins Aug. 29

Monroe County Community College's Health Sciences Division has introduced a new Issues and Trends in Health Care course (HLTC 200) for current and prospective health sciences students or anyone else who is interested in the topic. MCCC AWARDED $45,000 FEDERAL ELECTRIC VEHICLE INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT FROM SEMCOG

Monroe County Community College, in partnership with the City of Monroe and the City of Luna Pier, has been awarded a federal Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Planning Grant of $45,000 from the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG), Dr. Kojo A. MCCC BOARD APPROVES FACULTY CONTRACT

At a special meeting yesterday, the Monroe County Community College Board of Trustees voted to approve a Master Agreement between the Community College District of Monroe County and the MCCC Faculty Association. Five regional high schools were represented at this year’s welding skills competition at Monroe County Community College. MCCC INDUCTS 25 STUDENTS INTO PHI THETA KAPPA HONOR SOCIETY

Recently Monroe County Community College held an initiation ceremony for 25 students into the college's chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society for community colleges. Founded in 1918, PTK is a scholarly fellowship which embraces the best students of community colleges in the state of Michigan, the nation and the world.
