The Monroe County Library System is hosting two Electric Vehicle Forums on Saturday, March 16 for those who are curious about EVs and want to learn more.
The Bedford Library Branch at 8575 Jackman Rd. in Temperance will host a forum from 9:30-11:30 a.m. For more info, call (734) 847-6747.
The Ellis Library and Reference Center at 3700 S. Custer Rd. in Monroe will host a forum from 1-3 p.m. For more info, call (734) 241-5277.
At the forums, attendees will be able to hear from experts and EV owners on their experiences with EVs.
MCLS is partnering on the forums with Monroe County Community College, the City of Monroe and the City of Luna Pier, which are implementing a federal Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Planning Grant from the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG) to provide programmatic and advocacy support for electric vehicle planning and EV charging infrastructure in Monroe County.
