Endowments provide lasting support to our most important ongoing work. Your support leverages the generosity of others to ensure our college continues the tradition of excellence that our students and community have come to rely.
Cultural Enrichment Endowment
The Cultural Enrichment Endowment was created to support programs, equipment and events that benefit, commemorate or contribute to the cultural enrichment of the students of MCCC and our community. The endowment annually supports a visiting artist series, art acquisition, community band and theater groups, educational children’s programming, popular musical acts and comedians, and much more.
This endowment funds projects that connect MCCC students with two of congressman Dingell’s legacy projects in Monroe County – the River Raisin National Battlefield Park and the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge.
The Foundation is proud to offer a robust endowed scholarship program, currently consisting of 59 separate endowments, with several endowments generating multiple scholarships each year. This portfolio has realized substantial growth over the past several years with the endowment doubling since 2011.
