THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE MARY MOSINGO COBB MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Mary Mosingo Cobb Memorial Scholarship to Shayne Stuck. The $1,350 Winter 2025 scholarship is to be used for tuition.


Stuck, of Newport, is a 2007 graduate of Airport High School. She is studying early childhood education at MCCC. In addition to her employment with Airport Schools at Eyler Elementary, she volunteers with the school’s Parent Teacher Organization and at various district and community events. Shayne is the mother of two boys, Cooper and Riley and the wife of Robert.


To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the Early Childhood Development Program at MCCC, maintain at least part-time enrollment, have a 3.0 grade point average or higher, be a Monroe County, MI, resident and be currently involved in community service.
Current and future students and their parents are reminded that there is still time to submit an online, one-time application for consideration for a 2025-2026 scholarship at www.monroeccc.edu/scholarships. The deadline to apply for more than $325,000 in scholarships is March 1, 2025.
