THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE JOANN NAIDA LPN TO RN NURSING SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the JoAnn Naida LPN to RN Nursing Scholarship to Joseph Crain and Nevaeh Roberts. Each $2,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books. 

Crain, of Ferndale, is a 2006 graduate of Henry Ford High School Work skills. He is currently enrolled in the LPN to RN Bridge Program at MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. While attending college, he also is employed as an LPN in the critical care unit of a local community hospital. Joseph is the son of Niketa Pruitt.

Roberts, of Temperance, is a 2023 graduate of Garden City High School. She is studying in the LPN program at MCCC and is actively involved in community development projects in her neighborhood. Nevaeh is daughter of Kristy and Kevin Roberts.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a second-year nursing student enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program, a Monroe County, MI, resident and have a 3.3 grade point average or higher.
