The Foundation Monroe County Community College has awarded the D.A.V. Chapter 137 Scholarship to Nicholas Borello. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Borello, of Dundee, is a 2020 graduate of Dundee High School. He is studying nursing at MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. Nicholas is the son of Jennifer and Stephen Borello.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a resident of Monroe County, MI, and a United States citizen, must be a veteran or the child of a veteran, the veteran must have received an honorable discharge and submit a copy of their DD-214, have a 2.5 grade point average or higher. Financial need may be considered in awarding the scholarship.
