MONROE, MI -- Presley Bergmooser is a professional muralist specializing in intriguing design, realistic portraits, and bold graphics representing businesses, brands, and bringing ordinary spaces to life. She will be sharing her art with Monroe County Community College students, faculty, staff and the entire Monroe Community with several free events next week.
A completely self-taught artist, Presley is just 22 years old and has been pursuing her dream as a commercial artist since the age of 17. Purposely choosing not to go to art school, Presley earned an associate degree from Monroe County Community College in 2022 and transferred to Michigan State University to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising Management in 2024. This experience provides her an edge over other artists with her unique perspective she is able to connect a brand’s image to its community through artwork.
Through her solo murals, she transforms boring, large-scale walls into giant canvases that leave her audience in awe. With community murals, she creates interactive murals inviting her audience to participate in the painting process with her. Her mission as an artist is to connect individuals, cultivate
creativity, and build relationships. As a local resident, many of Presley's murals can be seen in and around Monroe.
