The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Noel H. and Elizabeth R. Dentner Scholarship to Sophia Ogle. The $2,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition and fees.
Ogle, of Petersburg, is a 2024 graduate of Summerfield High School. She is pursuing a degree in biology at MCCC. While attending SHS, she was secretary for the Student Council, and a member of Student Prevention Leadership Team. Sophia is the daughter of Dave and Tammy Ogle.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate from Summerfield High School, Petersburg, MI, have a 2.75 grade point average or higher, must maintain full-time enrollment and be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan.
