THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE MONROE EXCHANGE CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Monroe County Exchange Club Scholarship to Mara Vitale. The $1,250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, and fees.

Vitale, of Monroe, is a 2024 graduate of Monroe County Middle College. She will continue her studies in the respiratory therapy program at MCCC. Mara has been involved in the community volunteering at the Monroe County ISD helping adult students at the Transition Center develop life skills. Mara is the daughter of Wendy and Anthony Vitale.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a resident of Monroe County, and a graduate of Ida High School, Jefferson High School, Monroe High School, or St. Mary Catholic Central High School.
