The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Brian Rothman Memorial Scholarship to Isabella Murphy. The $950 scholarship is to be used for tuition and fees.
Murphy, of Monroe, is a 2023 graduate of Airport High School. She is currently undecided but is considering studying cybersecurity at MCCC. Isabella volunteered at the Wyandotte Pride festival representing the Senior Alliance. She is the daughter of Tara Murphy and Theodore Murphy.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be a MCCC student, pursuing a degree in computer information systems and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Preference is given to Monroe High School graduates.
