The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Former Bedford Rotarians and Friends Scholarship to Winzor Martson. The $1,250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Martson, of Temperance, is a 2024 graduate of Bedford Senior High School. She is in the biology transfer pathway program at MCCC. Winzor was involved with the Christmas concert at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and helping raise funds for Bedford Goodfellows. She is the daughter of Daniel Martson.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Bedford High School, first year student at MCCC, maintain fulltime enrollment while at MCCC, have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, present financial need, demonstrate past or present community or public service and must perform 20 hours of community or public service during the scholarship year.
