The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the William A. Noseworthy Memorial Scholarship to Articia Bomer. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.
Bomer, of Monroe, is a 1990 graduate of Frank Cody High School, Detroit, MI. She is in the Criminal Justice Law Enforcement program at MCCC. She is a member of the Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Honors Club and Student Government. She is the daughter of Leandrews and Joyce.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled part-time, be a resident of the state of Michigan and have a 3.0 grade point average. Highest preference shall be given to students with a demonstrated financial need.
