The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Selma Rankins Memorial Scholarship to Emma Zukowski. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Zukowski, of Monroe, is a 2022 graduate of Monroe High School. She is studying education at MCCC, with plans to transfer to a four-year university to complete a bachelor’s degree and become an English teacher. Emma is the daughter of Keith and Angela Zukowski.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing a career in education, demonstrate financial need, a resident of Monroe County, MI, a United States citizen and a graduate of a Monroe County, high school. Preference may be given to a Monroe High School graduate who must have and maintain a 2.5 grade point average.
