THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE MARILYN SCHROEDER SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Marilyn Schroeder Memorial Scholarship to Patrick Flynn. The $1,250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Flynn photoFlynn, of Newport, is a 2016 graduate of Airport High School. He is pursuing a nursing degree at MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. Patrick is the son of Patrick Flynn Sr. and Yvonne Flynn.

 To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a health occupation program or a health-related science curriculum, must have earned 30 credit hours or more toward their degree, must maintain a full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours or more, must have a 2.8 grade point average or higher and must maintain active membership in a recognized college organization or activity during the scholarship year.
