The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Kimberly Reaume Memorial Scholarship to Emily McDonald. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
McDonald, of Newport, is a 2020 graduate of Airport High School. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC and is currently a member of the Student Nurses Association. Emily is the daughter of Donna Zakalowski McDonald and Marc McDonald.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Monroe County resident, maintain a 2.5 minimum grade point average, maintain a part-time enrollment status, defined as six credit hours, and be enrolled in the registered nursing program.
