THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE KAREN KARAU-COLLINS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Karen Karau-Collins Memorial Scholarship to Lily Hatkow. The $2,100 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.

Hatkow, of Dundee, is a 2021 homeschool graduate. She is pursuing an applied science degree in computer information systems: office professional at MCCC. Lily has also been a recipient of an MCCC performing music scholarship, is a member of the Agora Chorale performance group on campus, and has been a member of and performed with a number of other organizations throughout Michigan.  She is the daughter of Scott and Michelle Hatkow.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must maintain at least half-time enrollment status with six credit hours or more and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
