THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE DEBORAH L. BEAGLE MEMORIAL ACCOUNTING SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Deborah L. Beagle Memorial Accounting Scholarship to Heather Martinez. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

martinez photoMartinez, of Dundee, is a 1995 graduate of Whitmer High School, Toledo, OH. She is studying accounting while attending MCCC. She is actively involved in community service through the HotRods Motorcycle Awareness and Suicide Prevention Motorcycle Club in Milan. Heather is the mother of Jazman and Jaxsin Martinez and the daughter of Becky Adney.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a non-traditional student pursuing a degree in accounting, be at least a three-quarter-time student at MCCC and have a 2.5 grade point average or higher.
