The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Dr. Florence Ames Fine Art Scholarship to JoAnn Mills. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Mills, of Monroe, is a 1988 graduate of Wauseon High School, Wauseon, OH. She is pursuing a fine arts degree at MCCC and has art displayed at Amsterdam Whitney Galleries, Manhattan, NY. She is part of an organization with disabilities and a member of Fine Arts of America. JoAnn is the daughter of Don and Jean Graber.
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must be a full-time, second year student with a concentration in art and have a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average.
