The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the William J. and Hildreth C. Braunlich Memorial Scholarship to Abagale Huff. The $3,100 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Huff, of Carleton, is a 2022 graduate of St. Mary Catholic Central High School. She will be studying nursing at MCCC. While at SMCC, she has participated in the effects of drinking and driving mock accident, volunteered placing crosses in the front lawn of SMCC and raised money for the Oaks of Righteousness food pantries. Abagale is the daughter of Teresa and David Huff.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have graduated from SMCC, have shown academic achievement, participated in student activities or community service and demonstrate financial need.
