THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE WILLIAM E. RUPP SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the William E. Rupp Scholarship to Mia Freiheit and Connor Kemp. Each $2,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Freiheit photoFreiheit, of Lambertville, is a 2020 graduate of Bedford Senior High School. She is studying criminal justice at MCCC. While at BHS, she participated in Strive for a Safer Drive. Mia is the daughter of Michelle and David Freiheit Jr.

 

Kemp photoKemp, of Carleton, is a 2022 graduate of Airport High School. He is undecided on his career path and will taking general education courses at MCCC. While at AHS, he was a member of marching band, concert band, and jazz band. He is a current member of Divine Parish Church in Carleton, a former Boy Scout and member of the Monroe Hockey Association. He is the son of Jeffery and Dawn Kemp.

 

 

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Monroe County resident, a U.S. Citizen and maintain a full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours or more. In addition, the student must have a grade point average of 3.4 or above.
