The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Pearl K. Quermbach Memorial Scholarship to Hope Stoner. The $1,100 scholarship is to be used for tuition and fees.
Stoner, of Newport, is a 2022 graduate of Jefferson High School. She is pursuing an associate of science degree to enter into the pre-dental program at MCCC. She has been involved with Earth Day at MCCC. Hope is the daughter of Tiera Stoner.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must demonstrate financial need.
