The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Patricia A. Vajcner Memorial Scholarship to Blake Lambert. The $2,650 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Lambert, of Monroe, is a 2020 graduate of Monroe High School. He is pursuing an associate of applied science degree in manufacturing technology at MCCC. He was a member of University of Toledo’s Rocket marching band, was involved with Heritage Baptist Church praise band and Monroe County community recreation soccer leagues. Blake is the son of Phillip and Deanna Lambert.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing a degree or certificate that will prepare them to enter the skilled trades with strong preference given to a student who is in the product and process technology program and maintain at least part-time enrollment at MCCC. Financial need may be considered in awarding this scholarship.
