The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Patricia A. Vajcner Memorial Scholarship to Blake Lambert. The $2,350 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Lambert, of Monroe, is a 2020 graduate of Monroe High School. He is pursuing an associate of applied science degree in manufacturing technology at MCCC. He was a member of University of Toledo’s Rocket marching band and Heritage Baptist Church band. Blake is the son of Phillip and Deanna Lambert.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing a degree or certificate that will prepare them to enter the skilled trades with strong preference given to a student who is in the product and process technology program and maintain at least part-time enrollment at MCCC. Financial need may be considered in awarding this scholarship.
