THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE MONROE AGING CONSORTIUM HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Monroe Aging Consortium Health Sciences Scholarship to Katelyn Szczepaniak and Abigail Weber. Each $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.

Szczepaniak, of Trenton, is a 2011 graduate of Trenton High School, Trenton, MI. She is currently in the nursing program at MCCC and is a class representative of the Student Nurse Association. Katelyn is the wife of Sean Szczepaniak and the mother to Brooks Szczepaniak.

weber photoWeber, of Dundee, is a 2016 graduate of Ida High School. She is currently in the nursing program at MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurse Association and the Honors Program. Abigail is the daughter of Brian and Michelle Weber and the fiancé of Noah Szabo.

 

 

To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be pursuing a health sciences certificate or degree, a resident of the state of Michigan and have a 2.5 grade point average, with the highest preference given to a student with a demonstrated financial need.
