THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE KAREN KARAU-COLLINS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Karen Karau-Collins Memorial Scholarship to Elizabeth VanWassehnova. The $2,050 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.

VanWassehnova, of Monroe, is a 2007 graduate of Trenton High School, Trenton, MI. She is studying cybersecurity and information assurance while attending MCCC. Elizabeth is the daughter of Dale and Jan VanWassehnova.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must maintain at least half-time enrollment status with six credit hours or more and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
