The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Joyce Hoagland Eby Scholarship to Kate Maier. The $2,100 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Maier, of Maybee, is a 2021 graduate of Dundee High School. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC. Kate is a member of the Student Nurses Association and the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Kate is the daughter of Josh and Michelle Maier.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must show financial need and must maintain nine credit hours or more per semester and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
