THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE JOHN & VIOLET MUELLER SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the John and Violet Mueller Scholarship to Riley McDaniel and Rylie Peters. Each $1,825 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Riley McDaniel PhotoMcDaniel, of Temperance, is a 2020 graduate of Mason Senior High School. She will be taking general education courses while attending MCCC including theater and acting. While at MCCC, she participated in the production of the radio play “The Great Gatsby” where she played Daisy Buchanan. She is a member of the committee that is organizing the next production at MCCC. Riley is the daughter of Rusty McDaniel and Charlene Hunt.

 

Rylie PetersPeters, of Monroe, is a 2022 Jefferson High School graduate. She is studying psychology while attending MCCC. Rylie is the daughter of Patricia and Kristian Peters.

 

 

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Jefferson High School and a resident of Monroe County, Mich. In addition, student must maintain at least part-time enrollment of six credit hours or more, and must have and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher during their scholarship year.
