THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE JOANN NAIDA LPN TO RN NURSING SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the JoAnn Naida LPN to RN Nursing Scholarship to Lisa Perry, Elizabeth Russeau and Kendyl Villarreal. Each $1,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Perry PhotoPerry, of Petersburg, is a 1990 graduate of Dundee High School. She is studying nursing while at MCCC and plans to join the Nursing Student Association. Lisa is the wife to Ronald L. Perry, Jr. mother to Joshua Perry and daughter of Gwendolyn Carter.

 

Russeau PhotoRusseau, of Temperance, is a 2014 graduate of Monroe High School. She is pursuing a nursing degree at MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. Russeau has volunteered multiple times with the Monroe County Special Olympics. Elizabeth is the mother to Emelia Leverenz and daughter of Keith Russeau II and Brandy Russeau.

 

 

Villarreal PhotoVillarreal, of Southgate, is a 2018 graduate of Jefferson High School. She is studying nursing at MCCC. Kendyl is the daughter of Crystal Rice.

 

 

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a second-year nursing student enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program, a Monroe County, Michigan, resident and have a 3.3 grade point average or higher.
