Williams photoThe Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Gwendolyn M. Jacob Memorial Scholarship to Brody Williams. The $2,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Williams, of Monroe, is a 2022 graduate of Monroe High School. He is studying pre-biology at MCCC. While at MHS, he was a member of Student Prevention Leadership Team and Positive Peer Influence. Brody is the son of Jeffery and Angela Williams.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have graduated from Monroe High School, be enrolled in a transfer curriculum at MCCC, have a grade point average of 2.5 or above and maintain a full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours.
