The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Giuseppe Chirco Vocational Scholarship to Madison Sampson. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Sampson, of Carleton, is a 2019 graduate of Airport High School. She is studying construction management at MCCC. Sampson is involved with Project Dash-E with Woodland Church. Madison is the daughter of Ed and Ronda Sampson.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be enrolled in an occupational program of study that is related to construction trades, be at least a part-time student at MCCC, a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, United States citizen and have and maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average.
