THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE FIERF FORGING FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the FIERF Forging Foundation Scholarship to Robert Curiston, Jameson Miller, Erik Seitz and Christopher Zangara. Each $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Curiston, of Flat Rock, is a 2011 graduate of Huron High School. He is studying electrical engineering at MCCC. Robert is the husband to Jacqueline and son of Joseph Curiston.

Miller photoMiller, of Temperance, is a 2020 graduate of The Maritime Academy of Toledo. He is pursuing a PC support technician degree at MCCC. Jameson is the son of Erin and Brian Miller.

 

 

Seitz, of Ida, is a 2021 graduate of Ida High School. He is studying mechanical engineering at MCCC and is involved in the basketball club on campus. He is the son of Dan and Jackie Seitz.

Zangara PhotoZangara, of Monroe, is a 2021 graduate of Ida High School. He is studying civil engineering at MCCC. While attending IHS, he was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, PALS, Bluestreak Buddy Program and varsity basketball. Christopher is the son of Chris and Amy Zangara.

 

 

 

 

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing an associate of applied science degree from any engineering or manufacturing related program in the Applied Science and Engineering Technology Division and must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
