THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE FIERF FORGING FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the FIERF Forging Foundation Scholarship to Blake Lambert and David Pienta. Each $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Lambert photoLambert, of Monroe, is a 2020 graduate of Monroe High School. He is pursuing an associate of applied science degree in manufacturing technology at MCCC. He was a member of University of Toledo’s Rocket marching band and Heritage Baptist Church band. Blake is the son of Phillip and Deanna Lambert.

  

 

Pienta, of Monroe, is a 2021 homeschooled graduate. He is studying welding technology at MCCC and is a member Phi Theta Kappa. Pienta is a member of the American Bladesmith Society-Apprentice Smith. David is the son of Diana and Daniel Pienta.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing an associate of applied science degree from any engineering or manufacturing related program in the Applied Science and Engineering Technology Division and must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
