The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Bryan W. Smith Memorial Scholarship to Wyatt Larrow. The $1,450 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Larrow, of Erie, is a 2021 graduate of Mason High School. He is studying welding at MCCC. While attending MHS, he was a Monroe County ISD volunteer and is a member of Young Life Teaching about God. Wyatt is the son of Shane and Carrie Larrow.
The scholarship is awarded to a student who is enrolled in a certificate or degree program in the Applied Science and Engineering Technology Division at MCCC, maintain at least part-time enrollment during the year and isa resident of Monroe County, Michigan. Preference may be given to a graduate of Bedford High School in Temperance, Michigan.
