The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the AMVETS Corl-Gaynier post 1942 to Brynn Amazeen. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.
Amazeen, of Monroe, is a 2022 graduate of Monroe High School. She is undecided on her major but interested in digital marketing. Brynn is the daughter of Timothy and Amanda Amazeen.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a veteran, or a spouse, child, adopted-child, or grandchild of an honorably discharged veteran. The student must submit a copy of the veterans DD-214 to the Financial Aid Office. Students must be a Monroe County, MI resident. Preference will be given to students with a family member who belongs to AMVETS will be given.
