The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Former Bedford Rotarians and Friends Scholarship to Autumn West. The $1,250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
West, of Temperance, is a 2022 graduate of Bedford Senior High School. She is studying elementary education at MCCC. While at BHS, she was involved in varsity choir and volunteered at Connecting Kids to Meals. Autumn is the daughter of Anthony West and Tamara Alcock.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Bedford High School, first year student at MCCC, maintain fulltime enrollment while at MCCC, have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, present financial need, past or present community or public service and must perform 20 hours of community or public service during the scholarship year.
