Beginning Monday, April 25, 2022, Monroe County Community College will be offering the specialized RSLogix 5000 PLC Basic Training from Rockwell for area manufacturers and employees. The forty-hour training course will be held from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. through Friday, April 29, 2022, on the college's Main Campus at 1555 S. Raisinville Road, Monroe, Michigan.
Ladder logic is a programming language that creates and represents a program through ladder diagrams that are based on circuit diagrams. The RSLogix 5000 PLC Basic Training course is designed to familiarize participants with Rockwell RSLogix PLC programming. The course will provide learners with information about the uses of ladder logic along with the fundamentals needed to create, transfer, test and verify working RSLogix projects. The concept of ladder logic using tags and datatypes instead of data tables will be applied. Participants will go online with controllers and edit ladder routines online and offline.
