The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the William E. Rupp Scholarship to Riley McDaniel and Chase Miracle. Each $2,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
McDaniel, of Temperance, is a 2020 graduate of Mason High School. She is working towards an associate of science degree at MCCC. She is the daughter of Charlene Hunt, Rusty McDaniel and Andrew Kohler.
Miracle, of Dundee, is a 2019 graduate of Dundee High School. He is studying computer science at MCCC. He is the son of Terry Miracle and Tiffany Kirkman-Miracle.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Monroe County resident, a U.S. Citizen and maintain a full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours or more. In addition, the student must have a grade point average of 3.4 or above.
