The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Upward Bound Scholarship to Haley Campbell and Christian Reynolds. Each $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Campbell, of Monroe, is a 2021 Monroe High School graduate. She will be studying nursing at MCCC. While attending MHS she helped with food drives. Haley is the daughter of Barron and Dannette Campbell.
Reynolds, is a 2021 Jefferson High School graduate. He is pursuing an associate of fine arts degree at MCCC. While attending JHS, Reynolds was a member of the band, Upward Bound and Gaming Club and volunteered at Habitat for Humanity. Christian is the son of Tonia Reynolds and the late James Reynolds.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a first-generation college student or meet income eligibility guidelines.
