THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE TERRI McCONNAUGHEY SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Terri McConnaughey Scholarship to Presley Bergmooser. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Bergmooser, of Monroe, is a 2020 graduate of St. Mary Catholic Central High School. She is pursuing an associate degree while attending MCCC and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and a Writing Fellow. Presley is the daughter of Mark Bergmooser and Amanda Collins.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must either serve as a MCCC Writing Fellow or be a staff member on the college’s student newspaper, The Agora, and be working part-time during their scholarship year, as defined by 15 hours per week. Preference will be given to a non-traditional age female student. Additionally, a student must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher, and maintain part-time enrollment status of at least six credit hours per semester.
