The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Saverio Costello Memorial Scholarship to Kaitlyn Brooks. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition and books.
Brooks, of Lambertville, is a 2018 graduate of WAY Michigan. She is studying special education at MCCC. She volunteered with Special Olympics. Kaitlyn is the mother to Alora Powers and daughter to Linda and Randall Brooks.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be financially disadvantaged.
