THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE ROSE AND DR. RICHARD WALKER CULINARY SCHOLARSHIP

Hendrix photoThe Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Rose and Dr. Richard Walker Culinary Scholarship to Charity Hendrix. The $1,100 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Hendrix, of Temperance, is a 2020 graduate of Bedford Senior High School. She is studying culinary arts and food service education at MCCC. Charity is the daughter of Earl and Kate Hendrix.

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the Culinary Arts and Foodservice program, with a minimum of eight contact hours per semester scheduled.  Financial need will also be considered in awarding the scholarship.
