The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Perry Scholarship to Natalie Burkheiser. The $2,250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Burkheiser, of Deerfield, is a 2020 graduate of Summerfield High School. She will be pursing an associate of science degree while attending MCCC, then transfer to a four-year university. Burkheiser is a member of Phi Theta Kapp and a Writing Fellow. She is a member of Monroe County 4-H and 4-H Dog Program and volunteers at Toby’s Place Cat Rescue. Natalie is the daughter of Mark and Jennifer Burkheiser.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must maintain full time enrollment, have a 3.0 grade point average and be enrolled in a transfer program that is offered at MCCC.
