THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE MONROE AGING CONSORTIUM HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Monroe Aging Consortium Health Sciences Scholarship to Chase Hill and Jessica Mazur. Each $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.

Hill photoHill, of Carleton, is a 2017 graduate of Airport High School.  He is currently in the respiratory therapy program at MCCC and is a member of the Respiratory Therapy Club.  Chase is the son of Shanna Koenecke and Michael Hill.

 

 

Mazur photoMazur, of Allen Park, is a 2017 graduate of Allen Park High School, Allen Park, Michigan. She is studying respiratory therapy at MCCC and is a respiratory therapy extern at Henry Ford Hospital Detroit.  Jessica is the daughter of Patricia and David Mazur.

 

 

To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be pursuing a health sciences certificate or degree, a resident of the state of Michigan and have a 2.5 grade point average, with the highest preference given to a student with a demonstrated financial need.
