THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE MIDWAY PRODUCTS – LYMAN E. HOYT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Zapor photoThe Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded The Midway Products – Lyman E. Hoyt Memorial Scholarship to Bradford Zapor. The $1,600 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Zapor, of Monroe, is a 2000 graduate of Jefferson High School.  He is studying electrical engineering at MCCC and works as a student note taker for other students in the automotive service course.  Bradford is the son of Bradford Zapor and Mary Corneau Zapor.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in one of the following programs at MCCC: automotive engineering technology, mechanical design technology, welding technology, mechanical engineering technology or manufacturing technology. In addition, the student must maintain full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours or more, must have and maintain a 2.5 grade point average or higher during their scholarship year and must demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to a Monroe County resident or a child of a Midway Products, Inc. employee.
