The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Mary Mosingo Cobb Memorial Scholarship to Ryleigh Orrison. The $1,200 scholarship is to be used for tuition.
Orrison, of Monroe, is a 2021 graduate of Dundee High School. She is studying elementary education at MCCC. Orrison volunteered to work at a daycare in her free time and also volunteered to keep stats for DHS’s wrestling team. Ryleigh is the daughter of Ryon and Lisa Orrison.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the Early Childhood Development program at MCCC, maintain at least part-time enrollment, have a 3.0 grade point average or higher, be a Monroe County, Michigan, resident and be currently involved in community service.
