The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Mary L. and Edward P. Kehoe Scholarship to Hans Steffens. The $1,100 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Steffens, Monroe, is a 1988 graduate of Clinton High School, Clinton, Michigan. He is studying nursing at MCCC. Steffens is a volunteer chef at his church. Hans is the husband to Chantele Steffens, father and stepfather to Drew and Hans Steffens, Dakota and Chase Henry and Conner Mellina and he is the son of Charlie Steffens.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be employed for 30 hours per week, and maintain a part-time student status defined as six credit hours. Preference will be given to a student with financial need.
