The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Scholarship to Cailyn Jackson. The $200 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Jackson, of Petersburg is a 2021 Summerfield High School graduate. She is pursuing a degree in criminal justice at MCCC. Cailyn is the niece of Laura and Gary Burgard.
