The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Lewis D. McClure Scholarship to Meghan Jordan. The scholarship of $2,000 is to be used for tuition, books, supplies and fees.
Jordan, of Monroe, is a 2008 graduate of Destrehan High School, Destrehan, Louisiana. She is studying nursing at MCCC. Meghan is the wife to Joseph Jordan, mother of Della Jordan and daughter to Gerard and Tina McNamara.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, reside in Monroe County, and demonstrate financial need.
